What you are buying
A sticker spot on the MacBook Pro 14″ I use for work. There are twenty-five: eleven on the lid and fourteen inside. Each one is sold once, at the price shown on the page. Prices are net and exclude VAT.
The lid
Eleven spots on the outside of the lid, from 4 × 4.5 cm to 9 × 5 cm, plus the centre spot around the Apple logo. This is the surface people see when the laptop is shut.
Inside
Fourteen spots on the open machine, which is what is in frame while I work:
- Five above the keyboard, 5.4 × 1.2 cm each, on the bare aluminium between the function keys and the hinge. At 1.2 cm tall these suit a wordmark. An icon-only logo shrinks to nothing at that height, so please look at the shape before you buy.
- Eight on the palm rests, 3.8 × 3.8 cm each, four either side of the trackpad.
- One camera cover, 1.2 × 0.8 cm. Read the separate section on it below, because it is not like the others.
Buying a spot gets you:
- Your logo printed as a die-cut vinyl sticker and applied to the spot you chose.
- A dated photograph of that sticker in place, sent to you the day it goes on.
- Your logo and a link to your site displayed in your spot on this page.
- One dedicated Instagram post about you. Whether it is a story or a reel is my decision.
- The laptop in frame in videos I film while your sticker is on it. There is no separate charge for this and no minimum number of videos.
Which surface you are on changes what gets seen. The lid is what a room sees when the machine is shut; the inside is what a camera sees while I am typing. I make no claim about which is worth more, and the prices are simply what each is listed at.

Brands I do not accept
Gambling, betting, crypto tokens and adult content are not accepted. These rules are published on the shop page above the buy buttons and you accept them at checkout.
If you buy a spot for a brand in one of those categories, the sponsorship is rejected, the sticker is never printed, your logo is never published, and the payment is not refunded. You bought something the rules told you was not for sale.
Approval, and when I decline for other reasons
Every sponsorship is reviewed by hand. Beyond the categories above, I may still decline a brand at my own discretion, and I do not have to explain the decision. The laptop travels with me and I keep the final say over what it carries.
If I decline you for any reason other than the prohibited categories, you receive a full refund to the card or account you paid from, and nothing further is owed by either of us.
Your artwork, or your own sticker
After payment I email you. You have two ways to fill your spot:
- Send a logo and I cut the vinyl. An SVG, or a PNG at 300 dpi with a transparent background. I send back a mockup on a photograph of the real machine, and nothing is cut until you approve it.
- Post me a sticker you already have, cut to fit your spot, and I apply it exactly as it arrives. If you do this I film it going on, and that footage becomes part of your Instagram feature. This route is not available for the camera cover, which I have to print myself.
By sending a logo or a sticker you confirm that you own it or are licensed to use it, and that you are giving me permission to print it where relevant, apply it to my laptop, and display it on this site.
You also agree that I may film and photograph your parcel being opened, your sticker being applied, and your logo on the machine, and publish that on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. If there is something in the parcel you would rather I did not show on camera, say so and I will keep it out.
You have 30 days from payment to send artwork or a sticker. I will email you at least twice in that window. If nothing arrives by day 30, the spot reopens for sale and the payment is not refunded. The spot was held for you and nobody else could buy it.
For a posted sticker, email me at spots@papercode.pl and I will send you the address. The 30 days run to the day the sticker reaches me, not the day you post it. If it arrives in time and I am slow collecting it, that is on me and you keep your spot.
The four spots under my wrists
The lower row on each palm rest sits where my hands rest all day. Skin, oil and friction will scuff that vinyl and it will not stay factory-fresh. I laminate those four, which roughly doubles their life, and I will replace a sticker that lifts or wears through at no cost to you for as long as your spot is running — but I am telling you before you buy rather than after, and ordinary wear on those four spots is not grounds for a refund. They are priced below the upper row for exactly this reason.
The camera cover
This one is a cover, not a sticker. Your brand is printed on a thin removable cover that sits over the camera on the screen. Nothing is stuck to the display: Apple warns that closing a MacBook with anything adhered over the lens can crack the screen, and I am not doing that to a machine eleven other sponsors are sitting on.
What that means in practice: the cover is on the camera whenever the laptop is open, and it comes off when I shut the lid. It is in shot on every video call and in any footage of the screen. It is not on the machine when the machine is closed, so it is not part of what the lid shows.
It is the only spot here that is also a thing I use. If it is lost or damaged I reprint it, for as long as your spot is running.
How long it stays
At least 30 days from the day it goes on, and after that until I replace the laptop. When I replace it, the run ends for everyone at once and all twenty-five spots reopen. I do not commit to a date for that, and it is normally a great deal longer than 30 days.
The only case where you get money back is a machine that dies early. If the laptop is lost, stolen or broken before your first 30 days are up, I refund the unused part of those 30 days, pro rata. If it happens after 30 days, the sponsorship has been delivered and no refund is due.
Your logo and link stay on this page for as long as your spot is on the machine.
What I do not promise
I make no promise about impressions, views, clicks, reach or results. There is no way to measure attention on a laptop, and I will not invent a number. You are buying a physical placement and the specific things listed above, nothing more.
A sticker is a paid placement, not an endorsement, in either direction. I do not vouch for the brands on the machine, and they do not vouch for me.
If a brand on the machine later turns out to be fraudulent, unlawful, or materially different from what I approved, I may remove the sticker and delist it. In that case no refund is due.
When money comes back, and when it does not
- Refunded in full: I decline your brand for a reason other than the prohibited categories.
- Refunded pro rata: the laptop is lost, stolen or broken before your first 30 days are up.
- Not refunded: you bought a spot for gambling, betting, crypto tokens or adult content.
- Not refunded: you sent no artwork and no sticker within 30 days of paying.
- Not refunded: ordinary wear on the four palm rest spots under my wrists, which is disclosed above and priced in.
- Not refunded: the brand turns out to be fraudulent, unlawful, or not what I approved.
Payment and invoices
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own page and never reach this site.
Prices on the page are net and exclude VAT. Where Polish VAT applies it is added at checkout and shown separately on your invoice. If your company is in another EU country and gives a valid EU VAT number, the sale is reverse charge and no VAT is added, so you pay the listed price. At checkout you enter your company name, address and VAT number, and the invoice is issued automatically.
Spots are sold as advertising space to businesses and professionals, not to consumers.
The waiting list
If you join the waiting list, I keep your email address so I can tell you when spots reopen. Joining the list reserves nothing and costs nothing. You can ask to be removed at any time.
Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Paper Code Adrianna Blaszczynska, a sole trader registered in Poland, NIP 8992854518, VAT number PL8992854518, based in Wrocław. The registered address is available on request at spots@papercode.pl.
